Terms & Conditions

By creating an account or using Nutio, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the app. Nutio is a food-centric social platform for sharing meals and discovering nutrition information.

You must be at least 13 years old to use Nutio. By registering, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you are eligible to use the service. If we discover that an account belongs to a user under 13, we will terminate the account and delete associated data without notice.

• You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure
• You must not share your account or allow others to access it
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
• Passwords are hashed and never stored in plaintext

• All posts on Nutio are currently public
• You retain ownership of your food photos and captions
• By posting, you grant Nutio a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display your content within the platform
• You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to any content you post

The nutrition data provided by Nutio's AI analysis feature is for informational purposes only. It is generated by a third-party food recognition API (LogMeal) and may not be 100% accurate. Do not rely on Nutio's nutrition data for medical, dietary, or clinical decisions. Nutio makes no warranties about the accuracy of nutrition analysis results.

Nutio may display allergen or dietary safety alerts when a scanned food item is detected as potentially conflicting with your stored dietary restrictions (e.g. “This food may contain nuts”). These alerts are AI-assisted and informational only. They are not a substitute for reading product labels, verifying ingredients directly, or consulting a medical or nutritional professional. Nutio makes no warranties about the accuracy or completeness of dietary safety alerts.

Nutio provides social features including: posting food photos, liking posts, liking comments, commenting, replying to comments, saving, reposting, following other users, and blocking users. You may block another user to prevent them from interacting with your content. You agree to use all social features respectfully. Nutio reserves the right to remove content or suspend accounts that violate these terms.

Nutio may request permission to send push notifications about social activity (likes, comments, follows, reposts). Granting this permission is optional. You can withdraw consent at any time via your device's system settings (Settings → Notifications → Nutio). Revoking notification permission does not affect your ability to use any other feature of the app.

The Nutio name, logo, app design, and codebase are the property of Nutio. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the Nutio platform without permission.

Nutio is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, or that AI nutrition analysis will be available at all times. We will make reasonable efforts to maintain availability of the service.

Nutio is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, including reliance on AI-generated nutrition data or dietary safety alerts.

You may delete your account at any time from the app settings. Nutio reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. On deletion, content is soft-deleted and permanently purged within 30 days. You may request an immediate hard delete by contacting privacy@nutio.app.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes via push notification or email before they take effect. Continued use of Nutio after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of Algeria. For any disputes, we encourage you to contact us first at nutio.legal@gmail.com so we can resolve the matter directly.
